  1. One way is to click one of the category pictures on the home page.

How do I buy a product?

  • While payment is not handled on our site, users must submit a purchase order for the product to the seller. Once the seller approves it, an invoice is generated and sent to the buyer with the necessary details for the buyer to pay the seller. To see how to do this, view the Purchase Order-Invoice System tab.

Where can I view my recent purchases?

  • Under your account page select the Purchases tab. From there, you can view and sort all of your purchases.

What are the payment methods offered?

  • The types of payment methods offered are wire upon receipt, wire before shipping, COD, freight forwarding, Paypal, or inspect and pay. Sellers choose one or more of the payment methods outlined above before publishing a listing.

How do I initiate a transaction?

  • For a transaction to be initiated, buyers must select a payment method that is pre-approved by the seller and create, review, and submit a purchase order for the product.

Is payment handled on tekcommerce.com?

  • All forms of payment are handled off of tekcommerce.com. The buyer is responsible for ensuring payment is received by the seller via the method that they choose upon receiving an invoice.

How do I submit a purchase order (PO)?

  • From the home page click Buy with Confidence -> Go to a seller’s individual product listing page -> select a Payment Method -> click Create PO -> review the purchase order details and ensure your shipping address is correct -> click Submit PO.

How do I know that my purchase order was received?

  • Once your purchase is order is submitted, you and the seller will both receive notifications via email and in your account’s notification center. The seller then will accept or decline your purchase order.

What happens when the seller accepts my purchase order?

  • An invoice will be generated in PDF format and sent to you via email and through your notification center so that you can save for your records.

How do I know when I receive an invoice?

  • You will be notified via email and in your account’s notification center.

Am I required to pay for my invoice?

  • Yes, once you submit a purchase order for product(s), you are legally bound to pay for the product(s) if the seller accepts your purchase order. Failing to pay for products will result in suspension or termination of your membership to TekCommerce without a refund.
Shipping

What is the cost of shipping?

  • The cost of shipping is determined by the seller and included on the invoice

What if the seller charges too much for shipping on the invoice?

  • The best option would be to contact the seller before paying for the invoice to work out an agreement on shipping cost. It is important to note that some shipping methods are more expensive than others and international shipping can be more expensive than you initially thought.

Who pays for shipping?

  • The seller decides who is responsible for paying for shipping.

How can I check the status of a shipment?

  • Sellers can provide the tracking number via tekcommerce.com in the form of a message to your inbox or they can email you directly.

How do I make a best offer?

  • For listings where sellers allow best offers, you choose your Payment Method -> click Make Offer -> type in Price and Quantity and click Review Offer -> review your offer details ->Click Submit Offer

Does TekCommerce have a return policy?

  • TekCommerce does not handle returns for buyers and sellers. It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact a seller if there is an issue with the product.

Who makes the return policies?

  • The seller sets the return policy when they list a product. They set the amount of time a buyer has to return product(s) if there is an issue.

Do sellers have to allow returns?

  • Sellers do not have to allow returns. It is their choice to accept returns or not and set the return policy.

  • Once the buyer sends you a purchase order and you approve it, an invoice will be generated where you can manually input the shipping cost to the buyer.

  • Once a buyer submits a purchase order for the product you are selling, you will receive a notification in your notification center and an email. Once you open the notification, you have the option to accept or decline the purchase order.
What happens when I accept a purchase order from a buyer?
  • An invoice will be automatically generated, once you input your account details (for wires only), and an email will be sent to the buyer in PDF format and a copy will be sent to your email as well.

How do I set my return policy for a product listing?
  • Click Add a Product on the username drop down on the Home Page -> Scroll down to Returns and click the drop down menu -> Select No returns, 7-day return, 14-day return, or 30-day return before publishing your listing.
Does TekCommerce handle returns?
  • No, it is the seller’s responsibility to communicate and handle all issues with the buyer in the event a buyer needs to return all or a set amount of products that they purchased from the seller.

How do I search dealers by their feedback rating?

Click the rating tab next to the dealer search and choose the feedback score you want to search by

How do I look for dealers in different regions of the world?

Click the Region (North American, CIS, etc.) on the Side Bar, a drop down of all the countries or states in that region will appear -> Click the country or state you are looking for from the drop down menu -> The dealers from that country or state will appear

How can I view a dealer’s profile?

Click the name of the company -> The dealer’s profile will appear with their address, contact info, inventory, and feedback score

What does the endorsement function do?

The endorsement option functions as a way to show other members that you are a company worth doing business with. Members can endorse each other to help establish more credibility.

How do I view my endorsements?

Click “Hi, (your username)” from the drop down menu at the top right of the home page -> Click My Account -> Click Endorsements at the top right corner of the page to see all the members who endorse you.

How do I view who has endorsed other members on TekCommerce.com?
